Mobile Crushing & Screening

Here at Jones Quarry, we use the latest in mobile crushing and screening equipment. This allows us to easily move from site to site to meet our client’s needs as required, as well as leaving no old plant impacting the environment.

These robust and professionally designed machines are intended for crushing and screening rock, soil, and other materials. Our equipment requires minimal space to operate, an improved production capacity, environmental protection, and of course great mobility.

Not only can we manoeuvre freely, but we can crush up to 1000m of spec (specification) aggregate per day, with one mobile crusher.

Concrete Recycling

Jones Quarry was the first concrete recycling depot in Taranaki, turning your unwanted concrete into a new product.

Instead of paying large fees to dump old concrete, drop it off for free or we can pick it up for a fee.  Please note there is a charge for concrete that has reinforcing, steel or mesh in it.

From buildings to driveways and everything in between, we specialise in providing a sustainable solution for Taranaki’s unwanted concrete.

Reinforcing steel embedded in the concrete is also not a problem for Jones Quarry’s equipment – with the use of a pulverizing attachment on an excavator we break it down into small chunks to then be able to put it through our mobile crusher. Whatever steel we miss, the magnetic belt will pick it out of the crushed concrete, which we then use in one of our many products.

Certified Tip Heads

For all your clean fill waste we have certified tip heads at Hydro and Brixton as well as clean fill drop off, including green waste, pest plants and lawn clippings at both Landscape yards. These have been approved and certified by the Taranaki Regional Council.

Clean fill material is waste that does not undergo significant environmental, physical, chemical, or biological transformations, and has no potentially hazardous content once landfilled.

This is controlled by our waste management acceptance criteria, which is monitored carefully by site managers to ensure our tip heads are environmentally friendly, safe for public drop off, and meet regulative compliance standards.
